Our Story
Finding unique, vintage pieces has always been a passion of Casey's. Their Florida home is a collection of things from the past and they enjoy finding items that bring character to a space. Casey started sourcing "Florida Style" vintage items in January 2017 for a vintage shop in Tampa while she was a full time elementary teacher (another passion). Casey later started an Etsy shop in July 2018 while still teaching. In August 2019 Cora (their daughter) was born and Casey decided to pause her teaching career. She worked from home with the Etsy shop with Cora by her side. The rest is history! Dan, Casey's husband, now works full time with the Etsy shop as well. This is a family business and they take pride in helping others find pieces they will love in their spaces.

We are a husband and wife team, with our side kick, Cora, just enjoying the journey. We curate one vintage piece at a time and prepare it for your home.
Casey
Dovetails started with Casey. Giving "old" items a second chance at life is a passion. Sourcing pieces that people will love in their home is something she loves.
Dan
Dan is the brain behind arranging shipping and organizing the always changing inventory. He brings life back to some pieces with cleaning and minor repairs.
Cora
She's the daughter of Casey and Dan - The motivation to grow Dovetails Decor. This business allows us to work from home and spend more time with Cora.
